Difficulty levels

Buggy

Easiest difficulty. Enemies and bosses levelled down to 5 levels below lowest level character's, bosses' ultimate attack disabled. Yellow and green data crystals respawn after leaving area.

Training

Easier than standard. Enemies and bosses levelled down to 4levels below average party level, bosses use their ultimate attack at 1/8 LE. Yellow data crystals respawn after leaving area.

Standard

The standard setting. Enemies and bosses match average party level, bosses use their ultimate attack at 1/4 LE. Yellow data crystals respawn after teleporting or entering/leaving cyberspace.

Advanced

A bit harder than standard. Enemies and bosses match average level, bosses use their ultimate attack at 1/2 LE, Overdrive kicks in at 1/4 LE. Yellow data crystals respawn after entering/leaving cyberspace.

Expert

Much harder than standard. Enemies and bosses match highest level character's, bosses use their ultimate attack at 1/2 LE, Overdrive kicks in at 1/4 LE. Yellow crystals respawn after entering/leaving cyberspace and can respawn 5 times max.

Artificial

The hardest difficulty. Enemies and bosses 5 levels above highest level character's, bosses can always use their ultimate attack, Overdrive kicks in at 1/2 LE. yellow crystals don't respawn.

Debug

The difficulty available for beta-testing. All content unlocked, difficulty switch on the fly, one secret character for whole game. Just be wary of the unfinished rooms… I heard there's nonstandard game-overs in them.
